റിലീസിന് പത്ത് ദിനങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രം ശേഷിക്കെ വിജയ്-കീർത്തി സുരേഷ് താരജോഡികളുടെ ചിത്രമായ സർക്കാർ ന്റെ കഥ തന്റേതെന്ന് തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും സഹസംവിധായകനുമായ വരുണ്‍ രാജേന്ദ്രൻ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു..
താന്‍ രചന നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ച് 2007ല്‍ പുറത്തെത്തിയ 'സെങ്കോല്‍' എന്ന സിനിമയുടെ കഥ മോഷ്ടിച്ചാണ് മുരുഗദോസ് 'സര്‍ക്കാര്‍' സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് എന്നാണ് ആരോപണം.
'സര്‍ക്കാര്‍' നിരോധിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് മദ്രാസ് ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ച വരുണ്‍ സെങ്കോലിന്റെ കഥ 2007ല്‍ സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഫിലിം റൈറ്റേഴ്‌സ് അസോസിയേഷനില്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരുന്നുവെന്നും അവകാശപ്പെട്ടു.
സർക്കാരിന്റെയും സെങ്കോലിന്റെയും കഥയ്ക്ക് സാമ്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് അസോസിയേഷനും കണ്ടെത്തിയതോടെ വിവാദം മുറുകി.
ഇതിനു മുൻപും ഗജിനി, കത്തി എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ സമാനമായ ആരോപണങ്ങള്‍ നേരിട്ടിരുന്നു.
സൂര്യ നായകനായ ഒറിജിനല്‍ ഗജിനിയുടെ റീമേക്ക് മുരുഗദോസ് തന്നെ 2008ല്‍ ആമിര്‍ ഖാനെ നായകനാക്കി ഒരുക്കിയപ്പോളായിരുന്നു ആരോപണം.
ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്ലോട്ട് ക്രിസ്റ്റഫര്‍ നോളന്റെ മെമെന്റോയില്‍ നിന്ന് എടുത്തതാണെന്നായിരുന്നു ആക്ഷേപം. എന്നാല്‍ ആമിര്‍ ഖാന്‍ തന്നെ ആരോപണം തെറ്റാണെന്ന വിശദീകരണവുമായി അന്ന് രംഗത്തെത്തി.
2014ല്‍ വിജയ് തന്നെ നായകനായി പുറത്തെത്തിയ 'കത്തി'യുടെ സമയത്തായിരുന്നു മറ്റൊരു ആരോപണം. 'കത്തി'യുടെ കഥ തന്റേതാണെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ച് തമിഴ് സംവിധായകന്‍ ഗോപി നയ്‌നാരാണ് അന്ന് രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്.
വിവാദങ്ങൾ ഉയരുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും വിജയ് ആരാധകർ സർക്കാറിന്റെ റിലീസിനായുള്ള ഒരുക്കങ്ങൾ പൊടിപൊടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
