Brooke Burke-Charvet may not want to look 25 anymore. But the Dancing With the Stars co-host, 41, who will be back in the ballroom on Monday for the Season 16 premiere of the show, just can't help it on the cover of the April issue of Health magazine.
'The 40s are a reality check,' says Burke-Charvet.
'That's when some people are trying to look 25. I would like to slow down my aging process, but I don't want to look like a pumpkin, all swollen! I don't want to fill every flaw in my face. A few? [She laughs.] But you have to embrace Mother Nature a little. I'm a woman. I'm a wife. I'm a mother of four. I don't want to look like a 25-year-old anymore. I want to be my best healthy self.'

Brooke Burke-Charvet was resting Thursday after successful surgery to remove her thyroid gland, which had a cancerous polyp.
'I'm resting, recovering,' the 'Dancing With the Stars' co-host tweeted early in the day. 'Surgery went well. Dr Adashek is a genius. Thx Dr! Feels like I got hit [by] a car :('
'Thank God it's over. I'm clean, surgery went well & I can talk. Losing My voice was my biggest fear. Thx for all your prayers & light.'
The 41-year-old kept tweeting through the day, relaying that she was spending time with family and icing her neck, the site of the surgery. The mother of four was also 'trying to be still in a hectic house,' something she said she was not used to.
Burke-Charvet went public with her condition in early November, making a video for fans in which she explained what was up. Since then, she has said, she's received tremendous support from fans and others who've gone through a thyroidectomy. She continued Thursday to be thankful for all the support that had come via social media.

Brooke Burke's thyroid cancer was revealed at the beginning of November and in a Dec. 5 Us Weekly report, the actress explained how it went telling her children about her condition.
'I decided not to tell my children about my diagnosis for as long as I possibly could because I didn't want them to worry,' wrote in her Modern Mom Blog. 'I know that my younger ones still don't have a great concept of time and I didn't want them to be anxious, worried and asking 1,000 questions.'
Brooke's older children are Neriah, 12, and Sierra, 10 from a previous marriage. Neriah cried and worried about whether her mother would be alright. The 'Dancing with the Stars' co-host said Sierra was 'very factual and scientific.'
The 41-year-old star's youngest children with current husband, David Charvet -- Rain, 5, and Shaya, 4 -- didn't deal with the cancer news as well.
'I don't want mommy to die,' her youngest son said.
Brooke Burke said that kind of reaction to her cancer 'breaks her heart' and that's why she avoided telling them for so long.
Brooke has thyroid surgery this week. She shared in her blog that she's already done the grocery shopping, stocked the house, made meals ready to heat up, and arranged the kids' schedules. She even downloaded books to read as she plans to make a speedy recovery. B

As model and 'Dancing with the Stars' cohost Brooke Burke prepared to undergo surgery for thyroid cancer Wednesday, she tried to focus on her family and healing.
On Nov. 8, Burke first revealed she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and planned to have a thyroidectomy.
'I've booked my surgery,' she said in a YouTube video. 'It's taken me a couple of months to really wrap my head around this ... Now I'm good. I'm ready to deal with it, and I'm going to be fine. I feel really, really strong. Doctors say this is a 'good' kind of cancer to have ... My doctor did tell me this is a happily ever after ending kind of thing.'
The mother of four has been sharing the personal experience with fans via her Modern Mom blog. On Wednesday, the day of her surgery, Burke revealed how she told her kids she had cancer.
