Simon Cowell was sharing the love over the weekend on Twitter, posting pics of Eric, his new son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.
'I never knew how much love and pride I would feel,' read 'The X Factor' judge's caption on the photo showcased above, in which Eric rests on his daddy's chest.
Two other black and white images went up Sunday: One, a straight-on shot of the new baby, is captioned, '…. now you can see how very handsome little Eric is.' The first one to go up, with Cowell cradling his son, shows 'Mum, Dad and Eric. Now two days old.'
The new dad continued to bubble on social media, saying, 'The last three days have been incredible. Eric Lauren sqiddly and diddly all happy.' Squiddly and Diddly, incidentally, are a couple of darling dogs who 'love New York.'
Eric Cowell was born on Valentine's Day, shortly after Cowell got off a private jet that had flown him in from London, where he was conducting 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions. He'd reportedly had the plane on call for a week. The tot weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
It's a first child for the former 'American Idol' judge, and the second for Silverman, who has an 8-year-old boy with her ex, Andrew Silverman.

Simon Cowell is reportedly expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman, a New York City socialite and the wife of one of Cowell's close friends, Us Weekly exclusively reports.
Silverman, who is allegedly 10 weeks along, is still technically married to Ace Silverman, a real estate mogul and friend of the 'American Idol' judge. She supposedly plans to leave her estranged husband to be with Cowell.
'Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while,' a source told Us Weekly. 'As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.'
Cowell's reps could not be immediately reached for comment by The Huffington Post. However, a rep for the mogul allegedly told the Daily Mail it's a 'very sensitive issue' and directed all questions to his lawyer.
Last summer, Cowell and Silverman were spotted vacationing together in St. Barts. Most recently, the 53-year-old was romantically linked with Carmen Electra, but the two broke things off in February.
AOL Music caught up with Cowell last year and asked him about his plans for fatherhood. Prior to that, the 'X Factor' judge had said he didn't want to be a dad.

US Weekly is reporting that the X-Factor creator is expecting a child with NY Socialite, Lauren Silverman.
While this is of course celebratory news, there's a lot of drama going on behind the scenes.
Apparently, Lauren is still legally married to her ex-husband, Andrew Silverman—he's a real estate tycoon who also happens to be really close friends with Simon. AWKWARD!
Sources are saying that Andrew and Lauren's marriage has been crumbling for a while, and while their relationship went south, she bonded with Simon.
As for whether this was a planned, well, it seems unlikely.
Simon's mentioned in the past that his priority is work, and he doesn't have time to properly raise a family.
He told AOL Music, 'I do really, really like kids...The problem is how much time you need to devote to bringing up kids. I've always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I've probably missed the opportunity.'
Well, looks like he was wrong about that—sources say that Lauren is about 10 weeks along and the baby is expected somewhere around March 2014.
