JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district have killed a woman by slitting her throat, police said on Monday.
Police said the militants barged into the house of Abdul Majid Dar, associated with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Shahgund village of Hajin area on Sunday night.

JAMMU LNKS NEWS | A civilian was killed by armed men at Hajin in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday morning. Police have blamed Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives, including local militant Saleem Parrey, for the incident.
The body of the victim, identified as Mohd Yaqoob Wagay, was found with its throat slit near his residence in Gunda Preng village. He was a butcher by profession.
Another civilian from Hajin – Hilal Ahmad Parrey – was abducted and killed by alleged militants last week. His bound body was later recovered from a nearby nursery.

ദുര്‍മന്ത്രവാദം ചെയ്യാനായി യുവതി മൂന്ന് വയസുകാരിയെ ബലി നല്‍കിയെന്ന് പോലീസിന്റെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തല്‍.
കഴുത്ത് അറുത്ത നിലയില്‍ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച്ചയാണ് തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ കുരുമ്പട്ടി ഗ്രാമത്തിനു സമീപമുള്ള വനത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ബാലികയുടെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെടുത്തത്. തന്റെ മാന്ത്രിക ശക്തി വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കാനായി ചിന്നപ്പിള്ള എന്ന യുവതി വീടിന്റെ മുറ്റത്ത് കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കുട്ടിയെ തട്ടികൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊല്ലുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 25 ന് കുട്ടിയെ കാണാനില്ലെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ പോലീസില്‍ പരാതി നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു.
പിന്നീട് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് തല അറുത്തുമാറ്റപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ കുട്ടിയുടെ മൃതദേഹം കാട്ടില്‍ നിന്നും കണ്ടെടുത്തത്.കുട്ടിയുടെ ദേഹത്ത് കിടന്ന സ്വര്‍ണാഭരണങ്ങള്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നില്ല. ഇതോടെ മോഷണ ശ്രമമല്ല കൊലപാതകത്തിന് പിന്നിലെന്ന് മനസിലായ പോലീസ് ദുര്‍മന്ത്രവാദം എന്ന നിഗമനത്തിലേക്കെത്തി.
മന്ത്രവാദ പശ്ചാത്തലമുള്ള ചിന്നപ്പിള്ളയെ അന്വേഷണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ ഇവര്‍ കുറ്റം സമ്മതിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജറാക്കിയ ചിന്നപ്പിള്ളയെ ജുഡീഷ്യല്‍ കസ്റ്റഡിയില്‍ വിട്ടു.
