Christie Brinkley Breaks Down During Interview

Christie Brinkley did her first interview this morning after four years of silence since her divorce.

Christie Brinkley sat down with Matt Lauer on 'The Today Show,' and she was supposed to promote her role as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' but the interview inevitably turned into talk about her ex-husband Peter Cook.

Explaining their bitter legal battles, Christie got all choked up. Even though the exes have a No Contact Rule in place, she says 'He continues to contact me and that's the problem.'

Christie couldn't hold back her tears anymore, and said: 'I just want peace for my family. And every time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, he has to try to destroy it.'

The interview ended there, and Matt Lauer apologized for not talking about 'Chicago' more. He agreed to do another sit down with her in the near future where they would only talk about her show..
