Get ready for American Idol 2012 top 8 performances tonight on FOX television!

This week Gwen Stefani will be returning once again to mentor the contestants. With Stefani, joined by Jimmy Iovine, the top 8 finalists will no doubt get some great suggestions on their song selections from these two great music industry powerhouses.

This week the contestants will be choosing songs from the 80's. With such a wide selection of genres to choose from, as the 80's delivered such a vast range of music (not just rock), we should be hearing some amazing performances, just as we did last week.

Just a little heads up for Thursday's show -- we'll be hearing from The Wanted, who will sing Glad You Came, and American Idol's own judge, Jennifer Lopez, will be debuting her music video Dance Again.
