Kathua: First batch of Hajj pilgrims flagged off

JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ghansham Singh today flagged off the first batch of 58 Hajj pilgrims from Kathua.

The batch of pilgrim includes 46 male and 12 female members.

Pilgrims from various areas of the district including Bani, Basholi and Billawar proceeded for the holy pilgrimage in buses. The ADC extended good wishes to the pilgrims and prayed for their safe and secure journey. He appealed the pilgrims to pray for the peace harmony and development of the district.

ACR Kathua, Jatinder Mishra, beside other officers, were also present on the occasion.

Family members, accompanying the pilgrims, expressed gratitude to the District administration for making adequate arrangements.
