Scarlett Johansson's playing late-actress Janet Leigh in the upcoming film, Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho.
The world's most famous shower scene is about to be re-staged, with Scarlett Johansson stepping into the tub as Janet Leigh in the upcoming 'Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho,' Variety reported Friday.

Playing Anthony Perkins, who made mama's boy Norman Bates the scariest motel owner to ever rent a room, will be James D'Arcy, who most recently played Edward in Madonna's 'W.E.'

And Hitchcock, the rotund master of suspense, will be played by Anthony Hopkins in the FOX Searchlight film, with Helen Mirren starring as his wife, Alma, Variety said.

Director Sacha Gervasi's picture will follow the director as he made the 1960 horror classic, which gave taking a shower a very bloody dimension and made the name Bates Motel synonymous with a place to be avoided at all costs.
