The Yojana will be implemented in two phases:-
Phase-I from 15th August 2014:
· Universal access to banking facilities for all households across the country through a bank branch or a fixed point Business Correspondent (BC) called Bank Mitra within a reasonable distance except areas with infrastructure & connectivity constraints.
· To cover all households with atleast one Basic Banking Account with RuPay Debit card having inbuilt accident insurance cover of Rs.1 lakh. Further an overdraft facility upto Rs.5000 will also be permitted to Adhaar enabled accounts after satisfactory operation in the account for 6 months.
· Financial literacy programme which aims to take financial literacy upto village level.
· The Mission also envisages expansion of Direct Benefit Transfer under various Government Schemes through bank accounts of the beneficiaries of.
· The issuance of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) as RuPay Kisan Card is also proposed to be covered under the plan.

Phase-II :
· Providing micro –insurance to the people.
· Unorganised sector Pension schemes like Swavalamban through the Business Correspondents..

    प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना (PMFBY):
    हर साल प्राकृतिक आपदा के चलते किसानों को काफी नुकसान उठाना पड़ता है. बाढ़, आंधी, ओले और तेज बारिश से उनकी फसल खराब हो जाती है.
    उन्हें ऐसे संकट से राहत देने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना (PMFBY) शुरू की है. इसे 13 जनवरी 2016 को शुरू किया गया था.
    इसके तहत किसानों को खरीफ की फसल के लिये 2 फीसदी प्रीमियम और रबी की फसल के लिये 1.5% प्रीमियम का भुगतान करना पड़ता है.

    PMUY के तहत सरकार गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन यापन करने वाले परिवारों को घरेलू रसोई गैस (एलपीजी गैस) का कनेक्शन देती है. प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना (PMUY) पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय के सहयोग से चलाई जा रही है.

    ग्रामीण इलाके में खाना पकाने के लिए लकड़ी और गोबर के उपले का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. इससे ..

    PMUY से लोगों को क्या लाभ मिलेंगे
    शुद्ध ईंधन के प्रयोग से महिलाओं के स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य में सुधार
    अशुद्ध जीवाश्‍म ईंधन के प्रयोग न करने से वातावरण में कम प्रदूषण
    खाने पर धुएं के असर से मृत्‍यु में कमी
    छोटे बच्‍चों में स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य समस्या से छुटकारा

    PMUY के लिए कैसे करें आवेदन?
    1- PMUY के तहत गैस कनेक्शन लेने के लिए BPL परिवार की कोई महिला आवेदन कर सकती है. इसके लिए आपको KyC फार्म भर कर नजदीकी एलपीजी केंद्र में जमा करना होगा.
    2- PMUY में आवेदन के लिए 2 पेज का फॉर्म, जरूरी दस्‍तावेज, नाम, पता, जन धन बैंक अकाउंट नंबर, आधार नंबर आदि की जरूरत पड़ती है.
    3- आवेदन करते समय आपको यह भी बताना होगा कि आप 14.2 किलोग्राम का सिलेंडर लेना चाहते हैं या 5 किलोग्राम का.
