1. Eminem's mother, Deborah R. 'Debbie' Nelson, was 14 when she met 18 year old Marshall Bruce Mathers, Jr. and were in a band called Daddy Warbucks, playing in Ramada Inns along the Dakota-Montana border. Debbie Matthers nearly died during Eminem's 73-hour birth.

2. As a teen, Eminem wrote letters to his father Bruce. According to Debbie, all of these came back 'return to sender.”

3. When Dr. Dre first hear Em's tape, he said, 'In my entire career in the music industry, I have never found anything from a demo tape or a CD. When Jimmy played this, I said, 'Find him. Now.''

4. As a nine-year-old, Eminem was beaten so badly by a school bully that he spent over a week in coma.

5. The Secret Service put him on their radar after lyrics about wanting to see the president dead. The name of the song is “We as Americans” and the lyrics are: “F**k money, I don’t rap for dead presidents. I’d rather see the president dead, it’s never been said but I set precedents.”
