Broke Monica Lewinsky Writes $12 Million Tell-all Book about President Bill Clinton.

Monica Lewinsky may be planning a return to the public eye with new memoir about her relationship with former President Bill Clinton, according to reports.

The former White House intern, who turns 40 next year, is reportedly writing a book that could be worth $12 million.
As a 21-year-old intern Miss Lewinsky was at the centre of a scandal that engulfed Mr Clinton's presidency and nearly forced him from the White House.
She co-operated with the British author Andrew Morton on a previous biography called 'Monica's Story' which was published in 1999.
Reports suggest that the new book would include more salacious material about Mr Clinton, and her love letters to him.
Rumours of a book project surfaced a week ago when the New York Post reported: 'We're told Lewinsky has been making the rounds with major publishers, who were all asked to sign nondisclosure agreements to take the meetings,' A representative for Miss Lewinsky told the newspaper: 'I cannot comment on anything at this point.'
The National Enquirer reported this week that a publishing deal could be worth $12 million.
Following the scandal Miss Lewinsky worked as a handbag designer, a television correspondent, and reality TV host.
In 2005 she moved to London and later graduated with a Maste

Monica Lewinsky gets reported $12 million for memoir

What to say about a book deal for Monica Lewinsky that will bring her a reported $12 million?

Slate points out Bill Clinton was paid $15 million for his memoir. It does seem wrong that the difference between the man who was a two-term president of the United States and the woman who had a sexual encounter with him was only $3 million. Or maybe sad.

Lewinsky has already told her story once, in 'Monica's Story.' She was interviewed for the book by author Andrew Morton, whose unauthorized biographies include the somewhat scandalous 'Diana, Her True Story' about the former Princess of Wales.

The new book is rumored to have three things that the earlier one did not: more salacious details about Lewinsky and Clinton, ostensible complaints by Clinton about his wife, Hillary, and Lewinsky's love letters to Clinton, previously unpublished.

The New York Post writes, “In them, she opened her heart about her love for Bill and how much happier she could make him,” said the source. “Some of what she wrote was so raw that she never sent them.'

It's been 15 years since Lewinsky's encounters with Clinton, and 14 since the story hit the airwaves. For those who remember the whole mess -- the surreptitious tape recordings, the denials and non-admissions, the Starr investigation -- it will come as no surprise that Lewinsky saved the letters.

'She needs the money': Why Monica Lewinsky is writing tell-all book as friends reveal her shattered dreams of 'losing 30 pounds, moving to the country and having a family'

Monica Lewinsky is writing a tell-all book about her affair with Bill Clinton after the scandal left her hard up, unable to get a job and with her dreams dashed, friends have claimed.
The former White House intern, 39, is reportedly penning the book - including her intimate love letters to the ex-president and how he desired threesomes - for revenge on her former flame.
But friends say it could simply be a matter of cash for Lewinsky, who was left with massive legal debts and could never achieve her dream of 'losing 30 lbs, finding a boy, moving to Westchester County and having a family' after revelations of her Oval Office trysts with Clinton surfaced.
While Lewinsky has yet to sign a deal, it had previously been claimed that publishers were scrambling for the book and had offered her as much as $12 million.
'She may very well need the money,' a friend told MailOnline. 'That’s why she did the Andrew Morton [biography in 1998]. She had massive legal debts. It was a misconception that she came from a wealthy family. She's had trouble finding work.
'I think, if she had her dream, she would have lost 30 pounds, found a boy, moved to Westchester County, and had a family.'
Speaking to the National Enquirer, friends said the book will include never-before-seen love letters that she wrote to the president - some of which were so intimate she never sent them.

Monica Lewinsky Book details Clinton Affair Scandal Video.

Apparently, some publisher out there believes enough people are still interested in the Monica Lewinsky Oval Office tryst with former President Bill Clinton to warrant paying the infamous former White House intern $12 million for revealing more details than the public already knows about her time in the White House.

Monica Lewinsky, now 39 years old, is writing a tell-all book, the kind of book that often makes money on current topics. It should be interesting to see if a more-than-a-decade-old story of that genre pays off for any publisher offering that hefty some to Lewinsky for the story.
As the sordid story went down for Lewinsky, she was just 21 years old when her romantic and sexual encounters with Bill Clinton took place behind closed doors right at the White House. The scandal held national as well as international headlines for years, and the story nearly ousted him from the White House.
