വര്‍ഷംന്തോറും വന്‍തോതില്‍ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികളെത്തുന്ന 2700 മീ ഉയരത്തില്‍ ഹിമാചല്‍ പ്രദേശിലെ കുളു താഴ്വരയിലെ ഗ്രാം.നാല് ദിവസം നീണ്ട മലകയറ്റം വേണം നിഗൂഡതകള്‍ നിറഞ്ഞ ഇവിടെയെത്താന്‍.കഞ്ചാവും മരിജ്വാനയുമില്ലാതെ ഈ മലാന ഗ്രാമത്തിന് നിലനില്‍പ്പില്ല.കഞ്ചാവു വലി അനുഷ്ഠാനമായി കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന ഇവര്‍ക്ക് ജമലൂവാണ് ദൈവം.കുറെ നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി ഗ്രാമവാസികള്‍ യതൊരു മറയുമില്ലാതെ കഞ്ചാവ് വളര്‍ത്തുകയും ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.1985ല്‍ കഞ്ചാവ് ഉത്പാദനവും ഉപയോഗവും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിരോധിച്ചെങ്കിലും മറ്റൊരു ജീവനോപാധി മലാനകള്‍ക്കറിയില്ല.ഇപ്പോഴും ഇവര്‍ കഞ്ചാവ് കൃഷി തുടരുന്നു.593 ഏക്കറോളം കൃഷി നടക്കുന്നതായി 2016ല്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.ഉയര്‍ന്ന വില ലഭിക്കുന്ന കഞ്ചാവ് കൃഷി തുടരാന്‍ പ്രേരണയാകുന്നു. വിദേശികളും സ്വദേശികളുമടക്കം നിരവധിപ്പേരാണ് മുന്തിയ ഇനം ഹാഷിഷ് തേടി ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്നത്. മലാനകളില്‍ നിന്്കുളുവിലെത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്ക് കഞ്ചാവ് ലഭിക്കും.ലോകത്തെ കഞ്ചാവ് പ്രേമികളുെട മലാന ക്രീം ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കുള്ളിലേതാണെന്ന് ഇനി വിശ്വസിക്കാം
