5. आंध्र प्रदेश के पांच करोड़ लोगों की आकांक्षा को साकार करने वाली विशेष दर्जे के लिए आमरण अनशन पर बैठे वाईएसआर कांग्रेस पार्टी के नेता मेकपाटी राजमोहन रेड्डी (75) शनिवार तड़के अचानक बीमार पड़ गए। मेकपाटी के पेट में गंभीर दर्द की शिकायत करने पर डॉक्टरों ने उनकी जांच की और उन्हें अनशन खत्म करने की सलाह दी। परंतु मेकपाटी ने किसी भी कीमत पर अनशन रोकने से इंकार कर दिया और कहा कि विशेष दर्जे के मामले में वह हरगिज अपने कदम पीछे नहीं लेना चाहते
