ईद उल फितर के मौके पर ताजमहल में ईद की नमाज अदा कर देश में अमन चेन की दुआ की गयी तो वहीँ ताजमहल के सीने पर यानी मुख्य दरवाजे पर भिखारियों द्वारा भीख मांगकर कर ताज की छवि पर दाग लगाने का काम किया है।अपने ऊपर लगे दाग से आज ताजमहल भी शर्मिंदा हुआ है
