Chhering Dolma of Gemur village of Lahaul became the first woman of Himachal to get the benefit of Indira Gandhi Mahila Samman Nidhi Yojana. CM presented Samman Nidhi to 1123 women of Lahaul Spiti in Keylong today. Under this scheme, CM distributed Rs 15 lakh 27 thousand as the first installment. During his one-day visit, the CM also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works worth Rs 70.11 crore.
