A large number of devotees visited the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi on the first Sunday of the New Year and received the blessings of the Mother Goddess. The process of arrival of devotees from Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Delhi and other states continued since morning. Despite the severe cold, the morale of the devotees did not diminish and there was a crowd in the court of the Mother Goddess. Home Guard personnel deployed outside the temple maintained control over the crowd and ex-servicemen deployed inside the temple maintained the arrangements.
