After hundreds of accidents and instances of trucks overturning and falling into fields on Margao-Canacona highway at the start of Karmal Ghat, authorities took up the work of constructing retaining walls, to avoid heavy vehicles falling into the fields. But it has been more than a month now that the trench which was dug for the retaining wall is kept open. Locals have expressed fears that during night, there is a possiblilty that a scooter rider may fall inside and lose his life. Watch this special report
