Shimla (Himachal) : Many important decisions were taken in the 155th meeting of the Board of Directors of HRTC. In the meeting chaired by Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, it was decided that cashless ticket system will be started in HRTC soon. Cashless ticketing system will soon be started through UPI, QR code and credit, debit and NCMC cards. In the meeting, it was decided to soon resume the stalled driver recruitment. Similarly, 327 electric buses will be purchased in the year 2024.25 and in-principle approval has also been given for the purchase of 1932 buses in the next 4 years. Pratham Darshan bus service for religious places will start soon. Six routes will also be run for Ayodhya.
