Even after eight months of dissolution of Yol Cantonment Board, no solution has been found to the dilapidated sanitation system of Yol. The situation is such that heaps of garbage are being formed in front of Main Bazaar, Piru Singh Chowk, Ghiyari Khad, Nursing College and Main Bazaar Library which reach the roads. The cantonment administration had started the system of door to door garbage collection from June 2022 and all the dustbins in the area were closed, but from the day the notification of dissolution was issued, the entire system was stopped due to which people started getting garbage in their homes and roads. There are heaps of garbage which people are throwing in the ditches and here and there in the dark, which is polluting the environment of the area.
