A team of the Road Safety Council comprising of top transport, PWD and police officials conducted a site inspection of the KTC bus-stand in Panaji, including the area around it where a lady was crushed under the wheels of a bus. According to consumer activist, Roland Martins, who is also on the council, a similar accident had claimed two lives in February a few years ago. He said, a report will be prepared of the site inspection and recommendations made to improve road safety aspects of the KTC bus stand and surrounding areas.
