Jodi Arias sits in court during her trial for the murder of her boyfriend, Feb. 26, 2013, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Though accused murderer Jodi Arias said she sometimes felt 'like a prostitute' at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, she admitted today that she often enjoyed their sex life and even suggested sex acts they could try.
Prosecutor Juan Martinez, after a day of aggressive questioning and bickering with Arias, asked her about her own suggestions for her sex life with Alexander, including a phone conversation in which she suggested using sexual lubricant.
Arias, 32, is accused of killing Alexander, but claims it was in self-defense.
'You introduced KY Jelly into the relationship to make it more sexually enjoyable, right? When we're talking about the level of experimentation, it looks like both of you were experimenting together sexually. So when we hear things like, 'I felt like a prostitute,' that's not exactly true, is it?' Martinez said.
'It was often mutual,' Arias said. 'I didn't feel like a prostitute during, just after.'
Martinez showed the jury a text message Arias sent offering to perform oral sex on Alexander, comparing it to a statement she made on direct testimony saying that she once felt like a prostitute when Alexander tossed a piece of chocolate at her and walked away without a word after she performed oral s.

Jodi Arias says she would rather receive the death penalty than a long prison sentence after she was convicted of first-degree murder Wednesday, calling death 'the ultimate freedom.'
In an exclusive interview with MyFoxPhoenix.com, Arias says she was shocked by the verdict.
'I think I just went blank,' Arias said. 'I just feel overwhelmed. I think I just need to take it a day at a time. It was unexpected for me. There was no premeditation on my part.'
Arias spent 18 days on the stand sharing intimate, emotional and oftentimes X-rated details of her life before a rapt television and online audience. She had hoped it all might convince a jury that she killed her one-time boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in self-defense.
However, the eight men and four women on the panel didn't buy it, convicting Arias of first-degree murder after only about 15 hours of deliberations. Jurors will return to court Thursday to begin the next phase of the trial that could set the stage for Arias receiving a death sentence.
Arias says she would 'prefer to die sooner than later,' rather than spending the rest of her days behind bars.
'Longevity runs in my family, and I don't want to spend the rest of my natural life in one place,' Arias told MyFoxPhoenix.com. 'I believe death is the ultimate freedom and I'd rather have my freedom as soon as I can get it.'

Immediately following her guilty verdict today, Jodi Arias spoke with FOX 10 Arizona about the verdict and what her sentence will be.
Arias revealed that she would prefer to get a death sentence as opposed to life in prison. Arias was asked about what the 'worst outcome' would be for her in the sentencing. She said that it would be to live out the rest of her life in prison.
'The worst outcome for me would be natural life. I would much rather die sooner than later. Longevity runs in my family, and I don't want to spend the rest of my natural life in one place. You know I'm pretty healthy, I don't smoke, and I would probably live a long time. So that's not something I'm looking forward to. I said years ago that I'd rather get death than life, and that's still true today. I believe that death is the ultimate freedom, so I'd rather just have my freedom as soon as I can get it.'

Jodi Arias has been convicted of the murder of her boyfriend in the first degree and will now face sentencing - and possibly the death penalty.

A day after a jury found her guilty of first-degree murder in the slaying of her ex-boyfriend, Jodi Arias will return to court Thursday to begin a phase that will move her closer to learning whether she will live or die.
During this part of the proceedings, the so-called 'aggravation phase,' jurors will take an important step closer to that life or death decision.
'Now the odds, I think, shift somewhat in her favor, because it's a very different thing to sentence someone to die than to convict them,' CNN senior legal analyst Jeffery Toobin said.
In a television interview minutes after the verdict was announced, Arias said she'd prefer a death sentence.
'I said years ago that I'd rather get death than life, and that still is true today,' she told Phoenix television station KSAZ. 'I believe death is the ultimate freedom, so I'd rather just have my freedom as soon as I can get it.'
The comments prompted authorities to place Arias on suicide watch in an Arizona jail, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
'Until she is released from suicide protocol by Sheriff's officials no further media interviews of inmate Arias will be permitted,' the office said in a statement.
Arias was stoic in court Wednesday. Her eyes briefly welled up with tears as a clerk announced that the jury found her guilty of first-degree murder for killing Travis Alexander
