Lakhs of devotees reach Shri Naina Devi every year to have darshan of the mother. At the same time, there is an influx of devotees in the Shravan Ashtami fair. Devotees from other states including Punjab, Haryana, UP reach. But many devotees do not follow the rules. For this, instructions have been given to the police officers to follow the procedure as per rules. About 700 police personnel and home guard jawans have been deployed in the fairs.
