Today, Shravan Ashtami Navratri was concluded with great pomp at the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi Ji of Himachal Pradesh. Today the langar committees from Punjab also gathered their belongings. For ten days, he served the devotees coming from outside states well and made better arrangements for their food and drink. This time there were better arrangements during the Shravan Ashtami fair and no news of any untoward incident was received.

A meeting was organized in Bachat Bhawan under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Abid Hussain Sadiq for the successful organization of the fair. All government and non-government members were present in the meeting. The temple of Mata Shri Naina Devi Ji will remain open for devotees round the clock. During the Shravan Ashtami fair at Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi, around 100 CCTV cameras are being monitored under the new system. Lakhs of devotees reach Shri Naina Devi every year to have darshan of the mother. At the same time, there is an influx of devotees in the Shravan Ashtami fair. Devotees from other states including Punjab, Haryana, UP reach. But many devotees do not follow the rules. For this, instructions have been given to the police officers to follow the procedure as per rules. About 700 police personnel and home guard jawans have been deployed in the fairs.
