മിശ്ര ഭോജനത്തിന്റെ 101- മത് വാര്‍ഷികാഘോഷത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് കേരള മിശ്ര വിവാഹ വേദി പയ്യന്നൂരില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ജാതി-മത രഹിത വിവാഹ സംഗമത്തിയത് പുരനിറഞ്ഞു നില്‍ക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ പട.ഏകദേശം 150 പേരെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയ ചടങ്ങിലേക്ക് 800 -ലധികം യുവാക്കലെത്തിയത് സംഘാടകരുടെ സകല കണക്ക് കൂട്ടലും തെറ്റിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു.സംഗമത്തില്‍ വെച്ച പരസ്പരം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള വിവാഹ കാര്യം അവര്‍ക്ക് തീരുമാനിക്കമെന്ന്‍ സംഘാടകര്‍ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ വരന്മാരുടെ കുത്തോഴുക്കല്ലാതെ വധുക്കളെ കാണാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. പരിപാടിക്കെതിയവരില്‍ നിന്നും 100 രൂപ വീതം രെജിസ്ട്രേഷന്‍ ഫീസ്‌ ഈടാക്കിയിരുന്നു. പുരുഷാരം കണ്ടു എന്ത് ചെയ്യുമെന്നറിയാതെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലായിരുന്ന സംഘാടകരും പരിപാടിക്കെത്തിയ ആളുകളും തമ്മില്‍ അവസാനം സംഘര്‍ഷമായി. ഒടുവില്‍ പരിപാടി അവസാനിച്ചതായി സംഘാടകര്‍ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതോടെയാണ് ആള്‍ക്കൂട്ടം പിരിഞ്ഞു പോയത്. വിവാഹ മോഹങ്ങളുമായി വന്നവരെ പോലീസെത്തി പറഞ്ഞു വിടുന്ന കാഴ്ചക്കാണ് പയ്യന്നൂര്‍ സാക്ഷിയായത് .

नोएडा से आज ही दिन कशिश रावत नाम की 5 वर्षीय बच्ची गायाब हुई थी जिसे आज गायब हुए पूरे एक साल हो चुके हैं लेकिन बावजूद इसके अभी तक वह मासूम बच्ची लापता हैं। नोएडा पुलिस अभी तक बच्ची को ढूंढने में असफल साबित हुई हैं। जिसके चलते आज बच्ची के परिजन, पड़ोसी व नोएडा के स्कूल में पढ़ने वाले छोटे-छोटे बच्चे नोएडा के सिटी मेजिस्ट्रेट ऑफिस पर भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे हैं। और सिटी मेजिस्ट्रेट व जिलाधिकारी के द्वारा यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री को इस संबध में एक ज्ञापन भी सौंप रहे हैं। ये सभी मांग कर रहे हैं कि बच्ची को जल्द से जल्द ढूंढा जाए नहीं तो वह आगे और भी बड़ा प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
नोएडा के सैक्टर-22 में रहने वाली पांच वर्षीय कशिश रावत आज ही दिन यानि 12 मई 2016 को पास ही के ग्रीन बेल्ट के पार्क में खेलते हुए गायब या अपहृत हुई थी। इसकी सूचना बच्ची के परिजनों ने सैक्टर-24 स्थित थाने में दी थी। लेकिन तब से अब तक नोएडा पुलिस गायब हुई बच्ची का कोई सुराग तक ढूंढ नहीं पाई हैं। इस सिलसिले में बच्ची के परिजनों ने यूपी के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यावद, उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत व नोएडा के तमाम मंत्री, अधिकारियों व पुलिस प्रशासन को पत्र व व्यक्तिगत व प्रतिनिधिमंडल के मार्फत अनुरोध पत्र भी दे चुके हैं की कशिश रावत को जल्द से जल्द खोजने का प्रयास किया जाए।
इनका कहना है की यह पुलिस प्रशासन की लापरवाही ही है जो अभी तक बच्ची का कोई सुराग नहीं मिल सका है।
इस तरह के मामलों का उजागर होना , एनसीआर में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर भी बड़े सवाल खड़े करता है।
