बाढ़ ग्रस्त क्षेत्रों के मुआवजे की मांग को लेकर 18 अगस्त से डीसी दफ्तर के बाहर किसानों का पक्का मोर्चा जारी रहा। पक्का मोर्चा की कमान रविवार को महिलाओं के हाथों में रही। सैकड़ों की संख्या में महिलाएं पक्का मोर्चा स्थल पर पहुंची और सरकार की किसान व महिला विरोधी नीतियों पर रोष जताते हुए जमकर कोसा। रविवार को पड़ाव में फतेहाबाद के साथ-साथ हिसार, आदमपुर, रतिया, भूना व टोहाना खंड से भी काफी संख्या में महिलाओं ने भाग लिया।
