Under this scheme, about 182 children have been identified across the district, out of which assistance amounting to Rs 9.82 lakh has been made available to 13 children for education. Whereas about 31 children of Una block were given certificates of Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana on Wednesday. On the basis of this certificate, these children will be provided benefits of various schemes of the government in the coming time.

Chamba (Himachal) : Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana and Disaster Risk Reduction Workshop was organized at the historical Chaugan of Chamba, which was presided over by Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania. Kuldeep Singh Pathania released Rs 3 lakh each as first installment for completely damaged houses to 70 families of the district. During this period, he issued eligibility certificates to 123 children under the ambitious Sukh Ashray Yojana of the state government. Under this, 599 eligible children have been selected from the district. The Assembly Speaker also provided tablets to 10 meritorious students of class 10th and 12th of Chamba district under the Srinivas Ramanujan Digital Student Scheme. Under this scheme, tablets will be provided to 449 meritorious students of the district.
