The disaster relief package of the state government has not reached Khonalal, a remote village under Saraj assembly constituency. The affected people of this village are still waiting for a special relief package from the government. During the heavy rains in August 2023, a cloud burst incident caused massive devastation in Khonalal village, the horrifying scene of which is still visible in the village. Many families of this remote village became homeless and lost everything. Nothing was left except the clothes covering the body.
