भारत के पर्यटन स्थलों में महाराष्ट्र स्थित मायानगरी मुंबई पर्यटकों के बीच काफी लोकप्रिय है. इसका कारण बहुत सी ऐतिहासिक इमारतों के साथ साथ मुंबई के बीच और पर्यटन की सुविधाएं भी हैं. इन सुविधाओं में मुंबई की सड़कों पर दौड़ने वाली 'Open to the sky’ double decker बसें पर्यटकों के लिए मुंबई दर्शन का सबसे आसान और लोकप्रिय माध्यम रहता है. लेकिन अब, मुंबई में पर्यटक खुले आसमान के नीचे मुंबई दर्शन नहीं कर पाएंगे. जी हाँ, ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि मुंबई की सड़कों पर रफ़्तार भरने वाली ये डबल डेकर बसें अब ‘आउट ऑफ़ सर्विस’ हो रही हैं.
मुंबई में फेयरवेल आयोजित कर Open to the sky double decker बसों को आखिरी बार मुंबई दर्शन कर विदाई दी गयी. इस मौके पर बस पर लगा स्लोगन सभी के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र रहा. मुंबई की सड़कों पर आखिरी बार दौड़ते हुए ये बस मुंबई वासियों को अपना रिटायरमेंट प्लान बनाने का खास मैसेज देते हुए गयी.
