Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the programme marking the culmination of the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign’s Amrit Kalash Yatra at Kartavya Path on 31st October 2023. The programme marked the closing ceremony of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
PM Modi also inaugurated the Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial during the programme. He addressed thousands of Amrit Kalash Yatris joining the programme from across the country during the programme. Pointing to the collective strength of Indian youth, he said “Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan is a live example of how the youth of India can organize and achieve every goal.” PM Modi highlighted that countless youth participated from every nook and corner of the country and said that 8500 Amrit Kalash have reached the Kartavya Path from all over the country. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will deliver the Keynote address at the national launch ceremony of 'Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav se Swarnim Bharat Ke Ore' on 20th January, 2022 at 10:30 AM via video conferencing. The program will unveil yearlong initiatives dedicated to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by the Brahma Kumaris, which include more than 30 Campaigns and over 15000 programs & events.
During the event, Prime Minister will flag off seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris. These include My India Healthy India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Self Reliant Farmers, Women: Flag Bearers of India, Power of Peace Bus Campaign, Andekha Bharat Cycle Rally, United India Motor Bike Campaign and green initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
In the My India Healthy India initiative, multiple events and programs will be held in medical colleges and hospitals with focus on spirituality, well-being and nutrition. These include organisation of medical camps, cancer screening, conferences for Doctors and other health care workers, among others. Under Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Self Reliant Farmers, 75 Farmer Empowerment Campaigns, 75 Farmer Conferences, 75 Sustainable Yogic Farming Training Programs and several other such initiatives for the welfare of farmers will be held. Under Women: Flag Bearers of India, the initiatives will focus on social transformation through women empowerment and empowerment of girl child.
The Power of Peace Bus Campaign will cover 75 cities and Tehsils and will carry an exhibition on positive transformation of today's youth. The Andekha Bharat Cycle Rally will be held to different heritage sites, drawing a connection between heritage and environment. The United India Motor Bike Campaign will be held from Mount Abu to Delhi and will cover multiple cities. The initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will include monthly cleanliness drives, community cleaning programmes and awareness campaigns.

A National Implementation Committee headed by the Home Minister has been constituted to chalk out policies and planning of various events to be undertaken under the Commemoration. The curtain raiser activities are beginning from 12th March 2021, 75 weeks prior to 15th August 2022.
