24-year-old Ankush, son of Kuldeep Chand, of Dalchehra Panchayat of Bijdi development block, has died due to drowning in a check dam built in the Panchayat. Ankush was preparing for higher studies after completing B.Sc. His father was an Indian Army officer. He has retired from the post of teacher after serving in I. Ankush was the only son of his parents and has three sisters.
