Una. Pen down strike was started on Tuesday morning itself as part of the agitation by doctors regarding salary increase including non-practice allowance. On this occasion, all the doctors stopped the entire OPD work from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, due to which the patients and their families who came to the hospital for treatment had to face a lot of problems. On one hand, there were long queues of patients in the OPD block, while on the other hand, due to the chamber being empty, people were seen waiting for the doctors. On the other hand, the doctors who are on strike have thrown the ball in the court of the state government and have raised the demand for their demands to be accepted soon.
