1. The 'Jhande se Jhande tak' target: PM Modi set an ambitious goal to cover all Indian families with bank accounts between Independence Day 2014 and Republic Day 2015, a span of 5 months.

2. One crore accounts on DAY ONE: The scheme surpassed its launch day target, opening over 2.16 crore accounts within the first 3 days, earning recognition from Guinness World Records.

3. Crowd-sourcing the scheme's name: PM Modi chose the name 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana' from public suggestions on the MyGov platform.

4. The big launch: 75 major events were held nationwide on launch day, involving state leaders and central ministers to raise awareness, generating nationwide excitement and turning PMJDY into a national movement rather than just another government initiative.

5. Simplifying the account opening process: PM Modi suggested reducing the multi-page form to one page, significantly easing account creation.

Mr. Jain credits the scheme's success to PM Modi's approach of thinking big and aiming high.
