Kerala Congress leader Simi Rosebell has recently stated that there is a casting couch culture in Congress.

She said that in Congress, there is no place for upright people, and that women leaders need 'sponsorship' to rise through ranks.

Ironically, the Congress chose not to address the issue, and rather, expelled her from the party.
