म्हादई प्रश्‍नी कर्नाटकचे ' कर्नाटकु धोरण '
म्हादई प्रश्‍नी गोव्याची बाजू लवादासमोर भक्कम झालेली असताना म्हादई बचाव अभियानाच्या याचिकेवर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयातील सुनावणीत काल कर्नाटकाने आपले उत्तर देण्यास असमर्थता दाखवताना एका आठवड्याचा अवधी मागून घेतला. पुढील सुनावणी १४ ऑगस्टला होणार आहे.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात काल न्यायमूर्ती मदन लोकुर व दीपक गुप्ता म्हादई बचाव अभियानाचे वकील भवानी शंकर गडणीस यांनी न्यायालयासमोर कर्नाटकाला कळसा भांडुरा नाल्याचे काम चालू ठेवण्यापासून मज्जाव करावा व काम बंद ठेवण्याचे आवाहन केले. परंतु कर्नाटकाने आपल्या उत्तरात कळसाचे काम पूर्ण केल्याची खोटी माहिती सर्वोच्च न्यायालयला दिली. मात्र त्यावेळी अभियानातर्फे दि. २ ऑगस्ट १७ रोजीच्या कामाची छायाचित्रे सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात सादर करून कर्नाटकाचे काम चालू असून कर्नाटक खोटारडेपणा करीत असल्याचे न्यायालयासमोर उघड झाले.कर्नाटकचे वकील फली नरीमन यांनी म्हादई बचाव अभियान व म्हादई जललवाद हे एकच असून त्यामुळे म्हादई बचाव अभियानाची याचिका सुनावणीत घेऊ नये असा युक्तीवाद केला. तसेच म्हादई जललवाद प्रश्‍नी आता सुनावणी २०१८ साली होणार असल्याची खोटी माहिती दिली.या बाबत अभियान न कर्नाटकच्या भूमिकेबाबत तीव्र संताप व्यक्त केला

म्हादई बचाव अभियाननं २००७ साली न्यायालयात सुरू केलेल्या लढ्याला १७ ऑगस्ट २०१७ या दिवशी यश आलं. या निवाड्यानुसार कर्नाटकला कळसा भंडूरां प्रकल्प बांधताच येत नाही. त्यामुळं पाणी वाटपासाठी स्थापन केलेल्या म्हादई जलतंटा लवादाला काहीही अर्थ उरत नसल्याची झणझणीत प्रतिक्रिया अभियानच्या नेत्या माजी मंत्री निर्मला सावंत यांनी गुरुवारी पत्रकार परिषदेत व्यक्त केली. यावेळी त्यांच्यासोबत अभियानाचे नेते पर्यावरण अभ्यासक प्रा. राजेंद्र केरकर, नंदकुमार कामत आणि इतिहास तज्ञ प्रजल साखरदांडे उपस्थित होते.
