New Star Trek Intro Darkness Footage gets bundled with the Hobbit screenings in December. If you're planning on seeing the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey the weekend of December 14th, you'll have two chances to catch a sneak preview of the Star Trek Into Darkness movie. Here's how it works, the IMAX Hobbit screenings will show the first nine minutes of the film and the Non-Imax Hobbit screenings will show the first trailer for the
film. And to be clear, the trailer is completely different than the 9-minute-preview.
We don't have too many details about the trailer just yet, but TrekMovie.com confirms it will be a traditional theatrical trailer and not just a short teaser trailer. The trailer also isn't just a condensed version of the first nine minutes of the film, as it draws from several

After the weekend of December 14th, the trailer will be attached to the front end of some other releases like Paramount's Jack Reacher and should be available online as well. Over the weekend, speculation began over the title of the sequel to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie and it now looks like it's been confirmed. The new movie will be titled Star Trek Into Darkness. The news was broken by TrekMovie.com who give us the following information:
'TrekMovie has confirmed with multiple sources that Star Trek Into Darkness' has been selected as the title for the Star Trek movie. As noted in our earlier article, the title does not include a colon, like were used for the Next Generation films such as 'Star Trek: First Contact' or 'Star Trek: Nemesis.'

That is some intense stuff right there!
