वेळसांव गावातील नागरिकांना एक ओढा ओलांडून वेलंकिनी कपेलकडे जावे लागत होते. या ओढ्यावर लहानसा नवा पूल बांधावा, अशी मागणी गेल्या अनेक वर्षांपासून पंचायत आणि आमदारांकडे करण्यात येत होती; मात्र या मागणीकडे लोकप्रतिनिधींनी दुर्लक्ष केल्यानं अखेर स्थानिकांनीच तत्पुरता पूल उभारला. माजी सरपंच लॉरेन्स यांनी पुढाकार घेऊन हा पूल उभारल्यानं ग्रामस्थांनी त्यांचे आभार मानलेत.
