The pass percentage was 82.10%, up from last year's 80.19%. This year too, girls outshone boys in the results - 87% girls have cleared the exams; boys lag behind with a pass percentage of 77.
Among the regions, Chennai once again became no 1 with a pass percentage of 91.83.

Also, Class 12 results 2013 can be accessed through SMS and over IVR.

The combined pass percentage is 82 per cent, which is up by 10 per cent from 2012. The city with the highest pass percentage is Chennai where 91 per cent of students have cleared their exams.
