New set photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 reveal some major spoilers involving our favorite wall crawler, the return of an unexpected character and also how a familiar face will be popping up! We've said it before and we're saying it one last time, the info we're covering contains major spoilers, so if you don't want to know anything about next summer's Spider-Man...well, you probably wouldn't have clicked on the video in the first place, so let's get started! It looks like Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy will be leaving high school behind as the pair attend their graduation with Peter almost missing it due to his superhero commitments. Gwen is the valedictorian and includes in her speech, talk of her fellow students feeling immortal, possibly foreshadowing her ultimate death at the hands of Green Goblin. Despite Peter promising Gwen's father that he will keep her safe by staying away from her, Peter and Gwen are spotted sharing a kiss at the ceremony. Peter breaking his promise could explain the bloodied appearance of Denis Leary on set once again as Captain Stacy. As you know, Stacy died at the hands of Lizard in the first film, so his return is most likely conjured by Peter Parker in a vision or dream. Denis Leary isn't the only familiar face we'll see back for part 2. It wouldn't be a Marvel movie without Stan Lee making a cameo and Stan the Man makes his The Amazing Spider-Man 2 cameo as a guest in the stands at Peter.
