MICHAEL Jackson's daughter, Paris, has been rushed to hospital after she tried to take her own life.
Entertainment Tonight reports that her mother Debbie Rowe confirmed the suicide attempt, saying Paris has 'a lot going on.'
'We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy,' she said in a statement.
Her grandmother Katherine Jackson issued a statement saying: 'Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.

'Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy,' said the statement, issued by her lawyer Perry Sanders.
TMZ reports that the teenager was taken out of her Calabasas, Los Angeles home on a stretcher at 2am on Wednesday (7pm AEST).

The emergency call is said to mention a possible overdose but other sources are saying that there was cutting involved as well.
TMZ quoted some tweets from the teenager posted on Tuesday night including 'I wonder why tears are salty?' and 'yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay.'
