TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson's 15 year old daughter Paris Jackson attempted suicide earlier this morning.
At around 1:30 AM, a 911 call was placed. The caller reported a possible overdose, even though other sources connected with this story claim it could have been due to cutting.
Paramedics rushed to her family's home in Calabasas, and she was rushed on a stretcher to a nearby hospital.
If Paris' tweets are any indication, she may be going through an emotional time in her life.
Earlier this month she said, 'I get weird when I'm not around people' and 'i end up making the same mistake i make every single night.'
Mere hours before the 911 call, she tweeted 'i wonder why tears are salty ?' and some lyrics from a classic song, 'yesterday , all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay.'.

MICHAEL Jackson's daughter, Paris, has been rushed to hospital after she tried to take her own life.
Entertainment Tonight reports that her mother Debbie Rowe confirmed the suicide attempt, saying Paris has 'a lot going on.'
'We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy,' she said in a statement.
Her grandmother Katherine Jackson issued a statement saying: 'Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.
'Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy,' said the statement, issued by her lawyer Perry Sanders.
TMZ reports that the teenager was taken out of her Calabasas, Los Angeles home on a stretcher at 2am on Wednesday (7pm AEST).
The emergency call is said to mention a possible overdose but other sources are saying that there was cutting involved as well.
TMZ quoted some tweets from the teenager posted on Tuesday night including 'I wonder why tears are salty?' and 'yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay.'

An attorney for Katherine Jackson, Perry Sanders Jr, said Paris Jackson is getting appropriate medical attention and the family is seeking privacy.
'Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are,' he wrote. 'It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy.'
Sanders declined further comment on Paris' condition or the circumstances that led to her hospitalisation.
Fire and sheriff's officials confirmed they transported someone from a home in Paris' suburban Calabasas neighborhood for a possible overdose but did not release any identifying information or additional details.
Paris frequently posts messages about her life on Twitter, where she has more than a million followers.
One of her most recent posts was from the Beatles' song 'Yesterday': 'yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay.' Another post included the question, 'I wonder why tears are salty?'
