More Details on Paris Jackson's Suicide Attempt
Thankfully, Paris Jackson is stable and OK after attempting suicide yesterday, but more unsettling details have been revealed about what exactly happened.
The behavior came about after Paris was told she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson concert, so she threw a fit, ran into her room screaming, and slammed the door shut.
TMZ reports that Paris cut her right forearm with a meatcleaver, took a bunch of Motrin pills, and left a suicide note. Interestingly, she also called a suicide hotline, and it was the person who Paris spoke with over the phone that actually called 911 and sent the paramedics to her home.
Paris received numerous stitches at a nearby hospital, and was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.
The LA Sheriff's Department told TMZ '{Paris} wanted attention. It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house.'

A rep on behalf of the Jackson also released a statement—He said asked that everyone respect Paris' privacy and said, 'Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you [her father]. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention.'.
