India's ace pacer Jhulan Goswami sits down to talk in length on various topics from how she got involved in cricket to who were her idols growing up and what she feels about women's IPL and when it would kick off.

Australia and India Women are up against each other in a multi-format series. The teams are also staged to play a pink-ball Test match and opening up about the same, India’s ace pacer Jhulan Goswami has stated that she is looking forward to playing the historic match.

Goswami was awarded the man of the match for her splendid spell wherein she scalped three wickets. India required four runs in the final over and it was the speedster who provided the finishing touch to the game to end Australia’s 26-match winning streak in ODIs. Post the match, she opened up about her bowling and expressed her feelings on playing the first-ever pink-ball Test for India

Jhulan Goswami has climbed to the second spot in the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for bowling after the update on Tuesday, 28 September. Alyssa Healy, the Australia wicketkeeper-batter, moved up a place to No.2 in the batter’s rankings, just 11 rating points short of topper Lizelle Lee, while Beth Mooney moved up eight places to break into the top ten.

Goswami’s rise comes after a stellar display in the ODI series, which Australia won 2-1. Her four wickets in the three-match series came at an average of 28.75, with her return of 3/37 in the final ODI helping India break Australia’s astonishing winning streak of 26 ODIs.
