हमीरपुर में सीटू कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा केन्द्र सरकार की जनविरोधी नीतियों और महंगाई के खिलाफ धरना प्रदर्शन किया तथा हमीरपुर बाजार में रोष रैली निकाली गई। सीटू के राष्ट्रीय सचिव कश्मीर सिंह ठाकुर ने जमकर मोदी सरकार के खिलाफ हल्ला बोला उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार पूरी तरह से विफल रही है। महगाई की दर इतनी बढ़ चुकी है कि लोगों को दो वक्त के खाने के लिए जदोजीहाद करनी पड़ रही है। वहीं उन्होंने कहा कि 1942 में 9 अगस्त को अंग्रेजों भारत छोड़ो का नारा दिया गया था। लेकिन आज सीटू ने नया नारा दिया है कि मोदी सरकार गद्दी छोड़ो।
