The tenure of current Indian cricket team Head Coach Ravi Shastri is coming to an end after the conclusion of the 2021 T20 World Cup. And, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now on the lookout for the man who can replace Shastri as the Head Coach of the Indian cricket team.

And, one of the names that is doing the rounds is that of Anil Kumble. It is to be noted that Kumble has already been the Head Coach of the Indian side before, but resigned from his post due to a fallout with captain Virat Kohli.

The 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup will be held in the months of October and November in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). And, the Virat Kohli-led Indian side is one of the favourites to lift the T20 World Cup trophy.

India will kickstart their campaign in the 2021 T20 World Cup against arch-rivals Pakistan on 24th October 2021, but before that, Kohli and his men will also play a couple of practice matches as well. India will play two practice matches, against England and Australia respectively.

Certain ‘not so good’ reports have been doing the round constantly ever since Virat Kohli announced that he will be stepping down as India’s T20I skipper after the T20 World Cup. A few cricket experts believe that his ODI captaincy is also in danger at the moment and a call will be taken on the same if India don’t win the T20 World Cup.

Moreover, a few are also of the opinion that Kohli should’ve let go of the limited-overs captaincy as a whole and not only from the T20Is.
