Laos Ambassador to India Bounneme Chouanghom on October 20 attended the inaugural ceremony of Kushinagar International Airport. He said that more people from Laos will visit Kushinagar now. “Before COVID, many Lao Buddhist followers came to visit Buddhist shrines. About 85% people of Laos are Buddhists so they wished to come to visit where Lord Buddha entered into Parinirvana.
