Delhi Government slapped a fine of Rs 5 lakh on NBCC for violating dust control norms at a construction site on November 12. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said, “The Delhi Government has made it mandatory for both private and government construction agencies to follow a set of guidelines to prevent dust pollution in the city.”
