ജലന്ധര്‍ ബിഷപ്പ് ഫ്രാങ്കോ മുളയ്ക്കലിനെതിരായ ലൈംഗിക പീഡന കേസിലെ നിയമനടപടികള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുംവരെ പരാതിക്കാരിയെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് കുറവിലങ്ങാട്ടെ മഠത്തില്‍ തുടരാം. ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ജലന്ധര്‍ രൂപത അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റര്‍ ബിഷപ്പ് ആഞ്ജലോ ഗ്രേഷ്യസ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയ ഉത്തരവ് കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു.പരാതിക്കാരിയെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളെ കുറവിലങ്ങാട് മഠത്തില്‍നിന്ന് വിവിധയിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് സ്ഥലംമാറ്റിക്കൊണ്ട് അവര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന മിഷനറീസ് ഓഫ് ജീസസ് സന്യാസിനി സഭ ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതിനെതിരെ കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്‍ ജലന്ധര്‍ രൂപത അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേറ്ററെ സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതേത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് കേസ് നടപടികള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുംവരെ കുറവിലങ്ങാട്ടുതന്നെ തുടരാന്‍ അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.അതിനിടെ കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളെ പിന്തുണച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കോട്ടയത്ത് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സേവ് അവര്‍ സിസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ വേദിയിലേക്ക് ബിഷപ്പിനെ അനുകൂലിക്കുന്ന കാത്തലിക് ഫോറം പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ മുദ്രാവാക്യം വിളിച്ചെത്തിയത് സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിന് ഇടയാക്കി.
തുടര്‍ന്ന് പ്രതിഷേധിക്കാനെത്തിയ അഞ്ചോളം പേരെ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്ത് നീക്കി. ബിഷപ്പ് ഫ്രാങ്കോ മുളയ്ക്കലിനെതിരായ ഗൂഢാലോചനയുടെ ഫലമായാണ് ഇത്തരം കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷനുകള്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ചായിരുന്നു കാത്തലിക് ഫോറം പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരെന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന അഞ്ചോളം പേരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധം.സ്ഥലംമാറ്റ ഉത്തരവിന് പിന്നില്‍ ബിഷപ്പ് ഫ്രാങ്കോയുടെ കുതന്ത്രമാണെന്ന് കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്‍ ആരോപിച്ചിരുന്നു. ജാമ്യത്തിലിറങ്ങിയ ഫ്രാങ്കോയ്ക്ക് കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് വരാന്‍ സാധിക്കാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളെ കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്ത് എത്തിക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കമാണ് അതിനു പിന്നിലെന്ന് അവര്‍ ആരോപിച്ചിരുന്നു.സ്ഥലംമാറ്റം റദ്ദാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടാണ് സേവ് അവര്‍ സിസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് കോട്ടയത്ത് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ നടത്താന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.ഫ്രാങ്കോയെ ബിഷപ്പ് സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് നീക്കാന്‍ അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റര്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തപക്ഷം സംസ്ഥാന വ്യാപക സമരം നടത്താനും സേവ് അവര്‍ സിസ്റ്റേഴ്‌സ് ഫോറം തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നു. കാത്തലിക് .
