Arunachal’s Two Young Everesters Felicitated In Itanagar | Catch News


Arunachal Pradesh’s Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mama Natung felicitated the state’s two young everesters- Tashi Yangjom and Tagit Sorang. Tashi Yangjom is the first Indian lady climber to summit Everest in 2021. Hailing from Lubrang Village in Dirang Circle of West Kameng district, she is the ninth climber from the National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports to scale the highest peak in the world.
