മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണില്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു വാഹനമോടിച്ചാല്‍ പോലീസിന് കേസ് എടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന് ഹൈക്കോടതി ഡിവിഷന്‍ ബഞ്ച് വിധിച്ചു.വാഹനം ഓടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് നിരോധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള വ്യവസ്ഥ നിയമത്തില്‍ നിലവില്‍ ഇല്ലാത്തതു ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയാണ് പോലീസിന് കേസ് എടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്ന് കോടതി വിധിച്ചത്.മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണില്‍ സംസാരിച്ച് വാഹനം ഓടിച്ചാല്‍ പോലീസ് ആക്ടിലെ 118 (ഇ) വകുപ്പ് അനുസരിച്ച് ഒരാള്‍ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് പൊതുജനങ്ങളെയും പൊതു സുരക്ഷയെയും അപകടപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന നടപടിയായി കണക്കാക്കിയാണ് പോലീസ് കേസ് എടുക്കാറുള്ളത്.
