വവ്വാലുകളെ കൊന്നൊടുക്കണമെന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രചാരണങ്ങള്‍ സാമൂഹിക മാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രചരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ആശങ്ക പരത്തരുതെന്നും മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. പകര്‍ച്ചവ്യാധി മറ്റ് മൃഗങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പകരുന്നത് കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. നിപ്പ വൈറസ് പ്രധാനമായും പകരുന്നത് വവ്വാലുകളില്‍ നിന്നാണെന്നാണ് രോഗത്തിന്റെ മുന്‍കാല ചരിത്രങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന സൂചന. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ പനിക്ക് പുറകിലും വവ്വാലുകളായിരിക്കാമെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം.രോഗബാധിരായി മരണപ്പെട്ട സഹോദരങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിലെ കിണറില്‍ നിന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം വവ്വാലുകളേയും കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.തുടര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു വവ്വാലുകളെ കൊന്നൊടുക്കണം എന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രചാരണം സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളില്‍ നടന്ന് വന്നത്. ഇതിനെതിരേയാണ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമായി ഇപ്പോള്‍ മൃഗക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പ് രംഗത്ത് വന്നത്. അതേസമയം നിപ്പ വൈറസ് ബാധ ലക്ഷണങ്ങളോടെ രണ്ട് പേര്‍ കൂടി മരിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഈ മരണങ്ങള്‍ സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുക കൂടി ചെയ്താല്‍ മാരക വൈറസ് ബാധയേറ്റ് കോഴിക്കോട് മരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം ഏഴാവും.കൂടുതല്‍ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് വൈറസ് പോവാതെ നിയന്ത്രണ വിധേയമാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യം വെച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്.

നിപ്പാ വൈറസ് ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ച പേരാമ്പ്ര താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രി നഴ്‌സ് ലിനി എഴുതിയ അവസാന കത്ത് ഇന്ന് എല്ലാവരേയും നൊമ്പരപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ്. ആതുരസേവനത്തിനിടെ ജീവന്‍ ത്യജിച്ച ആ മാലാഖയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി കണ്ണീരൊഴുക്കുകയാണ് നാടൊന്നാകെ.

നിപ്പ വൈറസ് പടര്‍ന്നുപിടിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിന്റെ ഈ നിര്‍ദേശം. എന്നാല്‍ വളര്‍ത്തു മൃഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും വൈറസ് മനുഷ്യരിലേക്ക് പടരാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം നിലവിലില്ലെന്നും, ദേശാടനക്കിളികള്‍ വഴി പകരാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം തള്ളിക്കളയാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്നും മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പ് അതികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. വളര്‍ത്തു മൃഗങ്ങളില്‍ ഇതുവരെ രോഗബാധ കണ്ടെത്തിയതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലെന്നു മന്ത്രികെ രാജു പറഞ്ഞു.
നിപ്പ വൈറസ് രോഗവ്യാപനം തടയാനായിജില്ലാതലത്തില്‍ നിരീക്ഷണ ക്യാമ്പുകളും, 24 മണിക്കൂര്‍ ഹെല്പ് ലൈനുകളും സജ്ജമാണ്.
സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ആനിമല്‍ ഡിസീസ് എമര്‍ജന്‍സി കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ ഹെല്‍പ്പ് ലൈന്‍ നമ്പറായ0471 2732151 എന്ന നമ്പറിലാണ് വിവരങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിക്കേണ്ടത്. രോഗലക്ഷ്ണങ്ങള്‍ സംശയിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ രക്ത സാമ്പിളുകള്‍ സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തിലും ആവശ്യമെങ്കില്‍ ഭോപാല്‍ ലാബിലയച്ചും പരിശോധിക്കുമെന്നു അധികൃതര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
നിപ്പ വൈറസ് ബാധയില്‍ 10 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. 2 പേര്‍ക്ക് വൈറസ് ബാധ സ്ഥിതീകരിചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.
